Carers

We’re all about giving our members independence, confidence, and ownership of their time with us — but we also know how important carers are in their lives.

That’s why we hold regular catch‑ups with carers: to share what we’re doing, celebrate progress, and make sure everyone feels connected and informed. It keeps communication strong and helps us work together to give members the best experience possible.

 

Become a Volunteer:

 

Want to make a difference and have fun doing it? Join us as a volunteer! Whether you have time, enthusiasm, or skills to share, you’ll be part of a friendly team helping adults with learning disabilities enjoy creative activities, social time, and confidence‑boosting experiences.

We welcome part‑time volunteers and those looking to gain hands‑on experience — no need to commit to every session.
 

• Volunteer sessions run two Sunday afternoons per month, 1:30pm – 5pm.

Become a Trustee:

​

If you have time to give or skills relevant to the work of a Trustee, you may want to consider offering to join the board of trustees for our group. The experience is rewarding for you as you will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and insight about how charities operate while hopefully taking on new challenges..

We are particularly keen to hear from potential new trustees that have the following experience:

• Finance

• Marketing

• Business

 

Before you decide to join us we recommend that you come and meet our members to experience what we as a charity are all about.
